HIMSS19 sets the stage for what’s happening next year.

AFC Industries recently exhibited at HIMSS 2019 in Orlando, Florida. The following is brief account of what happened this year at HIMSS. Health IT’s Largest Global Event – the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s annual conference & exhibit – will make interoperability and patient engagement two of the top priorities featured at HIMSS 2021. During this year’s event in February, HIMMS says more than 43,000 attendees from 90 countries came to participate in nearly 500 education sessions on 24 education topics, many of which hinted of what healthcare is looking to embrace more intently next year and beyond.
